Happy Air Max Day everyone!!!
It's been a wild year for Air Max technology and nothing short of exciting! Nike Vapormax has seen some upgrades, hybrids, and crazy colorways and now it's all about the Vapormax 2.0. Air Max 93's and Air Max 180's came back just in time for this year's Air Max Month (they are the inspo behind the newest addition below). Releases for my ever coveted grails the Atmos Safari Air Max 1 came and left me taking an L (again, why are my sizes becoming near impossible to find?). Now it's Sean Wotherspoon's corduroy hybrid 97/98 that won him last year's Vote Forward campaign that's releasing alongside the newest addition to the Air Max genus, the Air Max 270.
A WILD year indeed.
So this year I'm celebrating Air Max Day wearing something old but new. I love my pair of Air Max 96 II XX that Nikelab released in 2016 for its 20th Anniversary. They were slept on hard -- they're so comfortable and the 360 air makes me feel like I'm walking on air. It is the perfect dad shoe (before it was a trend) and it is so versatile. Wore mine with a Noah tee and these really great black ripped mom jeans (linked is the same pair except light, black sold out) and my layered coats. Simple and cozy and still a little flexy.
