In the years growing up in Florida, I managed to spend a whole lotta summers down in Miami. We would lay out by the beach, run around the hotel pools, and eat a whole lotta Cuban food. It was the typical stuff you'd expect out in the city. The beauty and charm of the 305 goes way deeper than the thong bikinis and fake bodies though; it's vibrant, vivacious and it makes you want to do shit. The cool kids have all grown up and now they've opened skate shops in Downtown Miami, 'zines and locals-only shops, high-low end retail shops in the Design District and cool bars in Wynwood.

Bought this shirt at the Lower East Coast, a sick shop in Allapattah that I had been wanting to check out since I was last in Miami back in December. They are the only spot in Miami that carries Stray Rats (a Miami-rooted brand that's been around for years) and unique magazines from all over the world. If you're ever in Miami, I'd pop in, pick up a mag, check out the stuff and chill out.
