How to Pack for a JAM-PACKED Wedding Weekend

How to Pack for a JAM-PACKED Wedding Weekend

I may have mentioned last week that I bought a thing or two for my great friend's wedding. What I didn't mention is that the wedding is in Florida and I'm heading down for all sorts of wedding shenanigans. I've prepared a speech for the rehearsal dinner and my bridesmaid dress made it in time, so I'm pretty ready. There's a lot planned and packing the right outfits for each event + making it fit with a carry-on limit ain't easy. So, I've decided to share with you how to pack for a jam-packed weekend.

I've narrowed it down to my basics (not pictured are my underwear for obvious reasons) for this weekend trip. I hate checking in my luggage so I stick to a carry-on I can easily throw overhead and easily run off the plane with once we land. I'm packing:

Β

2 pairs of jeans

2 pairs of sneakers

2 simple tees

3 pairs of socks

all-time favorite Pink for UF sleep shirt

bridesmaid dress

rehearsal dinner jumpsuit

striped top for brunch

r&r hat (no longer available)

trustworthy leather jacket from Nasty Gal

small Supreme shoulder bag (mine is no longer available, similar linked)

Rifle Paper x Lesportsac makeup bag (mine is no longer available, similar linked)

Makeup + travel friendly toiletries

Pictured: my carry-on is from Vera Bradley, my rehearsal dinner jumpsuit is Zara (no longer available), my bridesmaid dress is from asos, my black sandal heels are from Steve Madden (similar linked) and my black mules are from JustFab (similar linked). Both pairs of jeans ( 1 | 2 ) are from Gap, my Air Max 90 Flyknit 2.0 and Air Max 95 sneakers are from Nike & Size?. Striped top, Nightie, Supreme shoulder bag, my hat to wear at the airport, socks and tees are all no longer available for purchase.

My biggest thing to note is that my carry-on won't actually be heavy. I'm wear one outfit (jeans, tee, and sneakers + hat) all on the flight there and back; that eliminates some heavy stuff alone and leaves for wiggle room just in case I have to bring anything back with me. I always make sure my folds are smart, and I always bring my Downy wrinkle-releasing spray just in case I don't have time or access to an iron at the hotel.

I'm excited to see my friends get married and promise to share some photos on my IG and Twitter and let Wedding Season commence!

XOXO
