Woke up early and got really motivated to shoot this outfit in my head; however, the scenery in New Jersey is uh...limited in my neck of the woods and with the past week being nonstop I had to squeeze in this post. I've been trying to incorporate a few more pops of color into my very dark closet and when these new Nike Zoom Elite 9s (featured in Friday's post) dropped in white and volt I had to have! Meant for running fast, these are typically meant for straight performance but I must say they are SOOOO cozy (and cute!).

Paired my bright kicks with my black cropped leather jacket from Nasty Gal (R.I.P.) layered over my uniqlo wool-cashmere coat -- so warm and I always get asked if it's one whole thing. Layering a short jacket with a long one is def a good way to play up textures and keep warm.
